• HOW MUCH DISCOMFORT WILL I EXPERIENCE?Crystal Free Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion treatments are painless yet effective. A widely adjustable vacuum in conjunction controls the degree of effectiveness with the varying coarseness of the tips. At Celestial Skin Therapy we will evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment while at the same time ensuring your comfort. Because exfoliation occurs only as the wand is drawn across the skin, and there are no crystals being blasted against the skin, the Pristine Diamond Tip crystal-free System is regarded as more gentle than other systems even at its highest settings.

• HOW WILL I LOOK AFTER THE TREATMENT?Your skin may look slightly flushed immediately after the treatment but should return to normal in 10-30 minutes. There are limited side effects to microdermabrasion, any redness, temporary flaking and mild discolouration will disappear after the treatment, and can be covered with a light layer of mineral makeup. . Your skin will look and feel smoother and more youthful even after the first treatment and will continue to improve with additional treatments

• HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?We recommend a course of 6 sessions at fortnightly or monthly intervals for the most effective outcome, although even a single treatment produces beautiful visible results. As dead skin cells will always continue to accumulate, all skins will require regular conditioning treatments to encourage radiance and keep skin looking its best. The frequency of treatments can be decided as a part of your treatment plan, which is designed during an initial complimentary consultation.
